Kaleidoscope

Construction and Building Consultancy Company

Thank you for the work, and advice, you and your boys did at my place. We were pleased to see the difference the jobs made and love the fact that we got them done so efficiently on your part.

The steps make it easier for me and everybody else getting up and down them, the cat is happy and has learnt how to get in and out of the cat-door without any trouble and we are looking forward to tidying up the garden now the flagging looks so much better.

Thank you once again for a very fine tradesman-like job.

Sincerely, Pam McIntyre-Smith.

“We engaged Kaleidoscope Constructions to build our family home. Being first time home builders it was imperative that we were involved in the step by step of the build itself. It became clear to us early on in the build that the project was tailored to the client and that every decision made was in the best interest of the client. Consultation was a key factor in the build process and we were very impressed with the Tradespersons and Management.
The expertise of the Kaleidoscope Team delivered our family home on time, on cost and with a high quality of finish. We would highly recommend Kaleidoscope Constructions Pty Ltd”.

We engaged Kaleidoscope after meeting with Richard and discussing what we believed to be a competitive and thorough quote. Richard was approachable and honest from the start. He considered our plans and provided feedback and advice.

Work began as scheduled and despite the scale of the works we were surprised by how little we were impacted. Richard and his workers were respectful of our space and our property and at the end of each day cleaned and tidied away. With two very young children living through this project such care was essential to our quality of life.

In 2000 Richard Jones built an extension to our Inner West home.  This was an eight-month job which effectively required the grafting of a sizeable, contemporary two-bedroom house onto a single-brick Victorian villa.  The results that Richard delivered were exactly what we wanted, and we have enjoyed living in our extended home ever since.

I have known Richard Jones of Kaleidoscope Constructions for 5 years now, we have worked together on several residential and commercial projects. As a builder Richard is meticulous, and his work is of a high technical standard. Personally he is good natured and easy to deal with. He has proven to be reliable and seems to always have his clients best interest at heart.
I have known Richard Jones in a professional capacity as a builder for 12 years.

I was the architect for a job at 48 148A Evans Street, Rozelle and Richard Jones was the builder. The project was 3 levels and the build was difficult.

It involved extensive excavation and underpinning of adjoining properties, an OSD system and lower level tanking.

I have known Richard Jones in a professional capacity as a builder for 12 years.

During that time I have prepared Council Development Application and Construction Certificate plans for his residential projects up to a value of $800,000.

He has also submitted quotes for other jobs from my office. Tenders received were prompt comprehensive, showing a thorough understanding of the drawings and specifications, Council Consent conditions and other consultant’s documentation.

Richard was engaged by us to do a bathroom/bedroom conversion which grew into a larger renovation as we realised his greatest motivation was to deliver a job he would want to live with himself.

No short cuts were taken and all sub trades were highly supervised to ensure the work was of the highest quality.

Our firm has worked closely with Richard Jones on two multi level unit buildings in Cliff Street, Yeppoon. The two buildings were constructed simultaneously and were situated adjacent to each other. The site was very challenging due to the steep terrain and lack of access. Because of the difficult nature of the site we were contracted to set out all walls, columns and structural elements.

Apart from the early bulk earth works and final stages of the project Richard was the person who instructed us on what was required. Richard worked with my staff to understand the plans and CAD drawings and find and resolve any discrepancies prior to set out and construction.
